As you are aware, the 2019 NCASA 6-Month Survey is coming due in July, so here are a couple key things to remember.
- Be sure to click the 2019 survey, not the 2018 survey.
- The opening date is July 1st and the closing date is July 19th.
- Question #6 asks you to report on the children who left foster care/out of home placement due to reunification, adoption, or legal guardianship. To answer that question, CasaManager relies on you having input those Case Outcomes for those children upon case closure. That is done in Case Tasks.
- If your Case Outcomes value list does not show Reunification, Adoption, or Legal Guardianship (also shown as *Guardianship), you will need to add those to your agency’s value list.
- Next to question #6, you will see an icon which reads, ‘More Info’. Once you click on that, you will see an explanation regarding where that information is captured.
- You may drill down to the specific records by clicking on the number to the right of each question.
- Where the value equals zero, that means that there are no records found for those questions, if applicable.
- National CASA has additional instructions for specific agencies, and they will provide that directly to the affected programs.
