CasaManager was the first CASA/GAL case management solution on the market 25 years ago. Below is a timeline of our many innovative and time-saving features:
  • 1993: CasaManager Launches – CASA agency staff have the capability to manage volunteer training, case assignments and casework in one software solution created by a person who actually worked in a CASA office for 17 years.
  • 1995:National CASA Report– Capability for the entire report to be compiled with one button and kept up-to-date with National’s constant changes.
  • 1998: Email Capability– Email one, or a group of, volunteers directly from CasaManager.
  • 2005: PDF Creation Capability– Create PDFs from any report.
  • 2008:CasaConnect Portal– Online portal enables volunteers to submit their hours and case notes.
  • 2008:Remote Training– Provides the ability to get training on your desktop.
  • 2009:CasaConnect Reporting– Statewide reporting available for CASA state directors. OJJDP 6 Month Report and VOCA Report added to CasaManager.
  • 2010: CasaManager Charts & Graphs– Ability to visualize your case management data within CasaManager.
  • 2011:CasaManager Goes Mobileon iPhones and iPads.
  • 2011:FREE LIVE webinartrainings available.
  • 2012:Introduction of CasaManager Lite– Specially designed web-based software to provide peer coordinators and volunteers with live access to CasaManager data. VOCA Services tracking in place.
  • 2013:Outreach Tracking– Enabling agencies to analyze their recruiting efforts.
  • 2015: Introduction of Secure cmCloud Hosting
  • 2016: CasaManager Subscription – Lower cost of licensing, hosting and support into single bundled rate.

Here are the newest innovations in CasaManager 16:

  • Hide/Show: Provides user-level and agency-level option to customize navigation bars and sub-navigation tabs to fit users’ job position and/or agencies’ global use case.
  • Tab/Scroll: Provides user-level option to switch between tabbing and scrolling navigation based on personal preference.
  • Calendar Integration for Hearings and Reminders: Provides user-level option to export court hearings and reminders out of CasaManager into the users’ personal calendar. Calendar integration is compatible with all desktop and web-based calendars.
  • One-Stop VOCA Details Entry: For agencies receiving VOCA funding, allows users to complete all VOCA information from one place.
  • Individualized Report Favorites: New feature allows users to set their own favorites list without merging with other users’ lists of favorites.
  • Intuitive Report Criteria: New feature highlights the criteria required to run a report.
  • Full Sample Report: New feature shows the users a sample report prior to running a report.
  • Quick Date Range: Provides users with 19 pre-set date ranges for reports, including Mix and Match.
  • Quick Count Drill Down: New feature allows users to drill down and jump to specific records from 15 different quick count sets of data.
  • Intuitive Help Guide: New, intuitive guide tracks users and jumps them directly to the right page and provides visual cues and text instructions.
