You now have the ability to customize your QuickFind experience. With the new preference, you can choose to view all QuickFinds and Saved Found Sets by default, regardless of your location within the system.
• Enable this feature by setting the preference to Yes. This will display a scrollable list of all available QuickFinds and Saved Found Sets, making it easy to access everything in one place.
• Disable it (set to No), and the QuickFinds and Saved Found Sets will be tailored to your current location. For instance, if you’re on the Case Detail page, you’ll only see QuickFinds and Saved Found Sets related to casework.Take control of your QuickFind experience today with this flexible new setting!

We are excited to announce a new feature in the Casework Action Menu – the ability to generate a Records Request Letter for children in your found set. This streamlined process makes it easier than ever to request records from various recipients.
Key Features:
• Recipient Selection: Utilize professional, facility, and school pickers to quickly find the appropriate recipient.
Parent Additions: Add parents to the request with ease.
• Custom Notes: There is a free-text field at the bottom of the letter where you can add any personalized notes or additional information.Give it a try today and make your records request process smoother and more efficient!
- 0003587: [Volunteers] The Volunteer Pre-Service Training Tab Has Been Revamped! (kevinl)
We’ve streamlined the layout to better align with workflows and timelines for a more intuitive experience. Key changes include:
• The Fostering Futures dates and checkboxes have been moved to the Pre-Service Training tab for better accessibility.
• The original Fostering Futures tab has been re-named and transformed into the Training Overview tab, offering a comprehensive, bird’s-eye view of the volunteer’s training status.
• The new Training Overview tab now features clickable training totals, allowing you to easily track progress at a glance.This update is designed to make navigating and managing your training tasks smoother and more efficient. Happy training!

New preference added! You can now show or hide the Fostering Futures grant information on the volunteer pre-service training tab. Simply go to Agency Preferences, and find the Fostering Futures preference.
CasaManager Issues Updated
- 0003571: [General] Add total count of tags to tabs (kevinl)
The count of tags has been added above the tag list on all major UI tag tabs.
- 0003574: [Casework] New document notifications were not being received (jeffh)
A typo was found in the script responsible for sending email notifications, which caused the **TO** email value to be set to **NULL**. This issue has been corrected, and email notifications are now functioning properly again.
- 0003576: [Reports] My Hearings report now includes percentages for recommendations (kevinl)
The My Hearings report has been updated to now display the percentages of recommendations that were accepted, rejected, and not considered. These percentages are calculated based on the total number of recommendations made for the hearings found in the report. You can easily find this breakdown in the Grand Total section at the top of the My Hearings report.
- 0003578: [Reports] NCASA/GAL Wizard Changed to CM Data Wizard (kevinl)
The NCASA/GAL Wizard has been renamed to the CM Data Wizard to enhance its functionality and usability across a broader range of reports. This updated data checking tool, now known as the CasaManager Data Wizard, has been redesigned to be more versatile and accessible in multiple locations throughout the system. It is now conveniently available at the bottom-left of the Quickfinds screen and directly above the Run Report button on the Reports Menu screen. The CasaManager Data Wizard will be visible if the selected report is compatible with this feature, offering a seamless way to check and manage your data. Additionally, the VOCA Wizard will also be available at this location, if the selected report is a VOCA report.

Export and Print buttons have been added to the top-right on all DRD list views. Now, when you click the list icon to view records from the DRD, you have the option to export that data or print that screen.

Vacated hearings have been removed from the Data Review Dashboard check for closed cases with future hearings.

Find children in the Child Picker! No longer are you forced to use one of the 4 filters on the child picker ( petition, case name, etc. ). Now, you can enter find mode and enter search criteria to find any children to share.
- 0003585: [General] Inactive Flag added to Facilities and Schools (kevinl)
You can now make Schools and Facilities inactive. Simply check the “Inactive” checkbox next to the school or facility name to remove that location from the pickers by default. You still have the option to show inactive schools or facilities while using the picker, but your lists of active locations can now be pared down and managed.
- 0003586: [Casework] Add Checkboxes to Facilities for Home of Origin, Out of Home, and Kinship Care (kevinl)
Default checkboxes for Home of Origin, Out of Home, and Kinship Care have been added for facilities. Now, you can set those options for individual facilities, and any new placement for that facility auto-populates from those settings for that facility. This will help ensure those checkboxes get populated for the NCASA / GAL survey.

There is now a button to clear father info when adding a child to a family. By default, a new child in a family will auto-populate father info from the last child added to the family, but in cases where the father is not the same, it can be a pain to remove all that incorrect father data. You can now use the new button to clear father info to make it faster and easier to add the child’s father data.
Volunteer Portal Updated

We’ve taken your feedback into account and made it easier to manage the volunteer portal’s reporting capabilities! To help you streamline data access, we now offer more granular control over which reports are enabled or disabled. Each report can be customized individually, allowing agency administrators to tailor their view to meet specific needs and priorities.

We’re committed to delivering more useful and informative reports for your volunteer portal! As a result of your feedback, we’ve made it possible to include two valuable pieces of information in our Notes Report: the child’s name and case name. This added detail will help you better understand the context and history of each note, making it easier to track progress and make informed decisions.
