CasaManager Issues Updated

  • 0003549: [General] Dashboard Improvements (jeffh)

The dashboard has been enhanced with several improvements in this release. Linked data points, previously located in the top left corner, are now distributed across the top row of the main section. Additionally, the original pie charts have been redesigned as horizontal bar graphs to minimize their footprint.

  • 0003542: [Reports] Report Menu Clean Up (kevinl)

The Report Menu has undergone a complete redesign! The improved workflow now guides users through a step-by-step process, making it easier to select a report section, choose a report to run, preview the report along with its options, and then execute the report. Additionally, sample reports have been updated for most categories. Finding the right report is now more intuitive, thanks to a new tagging and keyword system that simplifies search and navigation.

  • 0003548: [Reports] VA CASA College Data export (kevinl)

A custom report was developed for the VA CASA College, with data exportable in the specified order.

  • 0003547: [General] Audit Log: Some Changes Not Showing for Volunteers (kevinl)

The screen for collecting change data was missing a few fields, which have now been added.

  • 0003546: [General] Change “Add” to “Assign” to Professionals and Placements (jeffh)

The original intent of the “Add Professional” and “Add Placement” buttons was to link an existing Professional or Placement to a Child or Case. However, users mistakenly believed they were adding a new Professional or Placement to the system rather than creating a link. To clarify, the button text “Add” has been changed to “Assign”.

  • 0003545: [General] Buttons in the top right need to be updated to follow the normal interface elements. (jeffh)

The top-level buttons on the right have been changed from gray to blue, as gray was perceived as inactive.

  • 0003544: [Customization] Manage Tags moved to Customize (kevinl)

The “Manage Tags” button, originally located on the Dashboard, has been moved to the Customize section to align with other system preferences.

  • 0003543: [Reports] Volunteer Address List: Find Options Expanded (kevinl)

The Volunteer Address List report has been updated to allow inclusion of Red advocates and AOKs. Users can now easily select the desired volunteer codes and statuses to filter for the report.

  • 0003540: [Casework] Close Case Dialog: Staff Advocate Resign Reason (kevinl)

Previously, when closing a case with a staff advocate, the resignation reason would occasionally fail to save. This issue has been resolved, and the case closure dialog has been streamlined for improved user experience and efficiency.

  • 0003538: [Casework] Wrong Mom Feature: Move All (kevinl)

The ‘Wrong Mom’ function ( merging duplicate families ) has been significantly improved to allow for the bulk transfer of related records at once, rather than merging them individually. This update includes the seamless transfer of associated children, notes, other family members, services, visits, measures, and documents.

  • 0003537: [General] NCASA Placement Definitions (kevinl)

To provide clearer definitions for terms such as “Home of Origin” and “Out-of-Home Care,” an information icon has been added next to the corresponding checkboxes. By clicking the icon, users can view the official NCASA definitions for these terms, ensuring greater clarity and understanding.

  • 0003536: [Reports] Add Missing Grant Date to DRD (kevinl)

A validation check has been implemented in the Data Review Dashboard (DRD) to identify cases where a grant is selected but the associated grant date is missing. Please note that there is currently no Auto-Fix available for this issue, and manual intervention is required to resolve the discrepancy.
